AGLOCO! What an elegant business concept.

How do you build a large network of users super fast?
Check out http://www.agloco.com/. Agloco stands for 'A Global Community', and its business model is all about serving advertisements to its network of users through a proprietary 'viewbar', which is a small toolbar that sits at the bottom of your computer. The toolbar looks like this:

The toolbar is quite unobstrusive, and does not interfere with your work.
For every 5 hours you leave this toolbar on (does not matter whether you actually click on nay of the text link advertisements) each month, you get 5 shares of the company. Currently AGLOCO™ will reward up to five hours a month in Viewbar time. Above that limit, you can keep your Viewbar displayed or minimize it at any time, though most of the Members choose to keep it up. If you don’t want your Viewbar to operate at any specific time, just minimize it and it will stop working. However, you will not earn online hours while your Viewbar is minimized.

Agloco also states that it will share with its users any advertisements, transaction commissions, software distribution fees and product distribution fees that it earns.

The beauty and elegance of this business model is that Agloco does not have to pay its users any cash for now to get them to start using the Agloco toolbar! They are offering the user shares in the company, which will only become convertable to cash IF the company gets listed. That's a BIG IF. If the business fails, or if Agloco is bought up by a big conglomerate, you get nothing!

In the meantime, as the network of users using the Agloco toolbar increases, Agloco starts to earn real cash from advertisers! Agloco states that once it becomes cash flow positive, it will share some of this extra cashflow with its users. In the meantime, users are just accruing shares in the company. But users do not have anything to lose besides having an extra toolbar on their computer, which comes with a handy search feature that allows you to search on most major search engines.

It's a brilliant concept and idea that might just work. If you want to sign up to try Agloco out, like I did, just click here to REGISTER with AGLOCO.
